The main focus of this short course is around using the two industry standard computerised accommodation booking systems - OPERA and HIRUM.  You'll learn about using OPERA & HIRUM for accommodation bookings, receiving and processing reservations and managing multiple reservations. Resources required

No specific resources are required to successfully complete this course.

It is recommended that students have access to a reliable internet connection to access TAFE Queensland East Coast's online learning system, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player.

This equipment and software is available for students to use at all TAFE Queensland locations.

Thursday: 9:00am - 4:30pm

Students will attend face to face classes on a Thursday from  9am - 4.30pm for 7 hours over 9 weeks.     In addition to the time spent in class, it is expected that you will spend at least 12 hours a week outside of class undertaking your own personal study, research and practical activities.

Payment Plan

If you have difficulty paying the full cost of a course up front you might be eligible for a payment plan. This will allow you to pay for your course in instalments, rather than one upfront payment at the time of enrolment.

Subsidised

The Queensland Government will offset the cost of study for eligible students. You will still need to pay for a portion of your study costs. The amount above is what you will need to pay.

Recognition of prior learning
