Students will begin by looking to understand coding principles with a focus on Javascript. This course is designed for students looking to develop entry level skills in coding or existing employees looking to enhance their role with coding skills.

Students will be required to bring their own lap tops to all classes,


Classes will be held at Spark Bureau - 17 Ocean Street, Maroochydore

6 x Wednesday evenings (5:00pm - 8:00pm C2.08)


This program contains two units of competency that focus on a programming/coding skill set

ICTPRG414 Apply introductory programming skills in another language Elective
ICTWEB302 Build simple websites using commercial programs Elective


Not all electives available at all campuses

Regional Development Australia will be contributing $200 per participant, therefore the student contribution cost is only $600

Payment Plan

If you have difficulty paying the full cost of a course up front you might be eligible for a payment plan. This will allow you to pay for your course in instalments, rather than one upfront payment at the time of enrolment.


The Queensland Government will offset the cost of study for eligible students. You will still need to pay for a portion of your study costs. The amount above is what you will need to pay.


You are eligible for the concession price of a course if you are eligible for subsidised training, and are listed on an Australian Government Low Income Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you hold a Department of Veterans' Affairs Pensioner Concession Card, or if you have a disability.
