All students on campus are required to have a Student Card and visibly display it while on campus or on vocational placement.
After you have enrolled you will be able to have your photo taken and collect your ID card at the following Customer Service Centres:
Your Student Card will allow you access to Library facilities. Full-time students will also be entitled to discounts on public transport, entertainment and some fast food outlets when showing their student cards.
The cost of the student ID is included in the student service fee you paid at the time of enrolment. If this fee wasn't included there may be an additional charge.
From 2015, all students are required by the Federal Government to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Your USI will help keep your training records and results together in an online account controlled by you.
Each time you enrol to study with a new training organisation, your USI will be used to store your training records and results.
By having a USI you will be able to access your training records and results (or transcript) whenever you need them. For example, for a new employer or when you enrol to study at a new training organisation.
Your USI can be accessed online from your computer, tablet or smart phone and gives you access to your training records and results at your fingertips. To create your USI, visit the website.
