Withdrawals and refunds

If you wish to change or withdraw from a course, program, module or unit please speak to your teacher for advice, they can advise you on your best options to help you achieve your study and career goals.

If you wish to withdraw after the start of study, academic or financial penalties may apply.

Withdrawals

If you wish to change your enrolment you will need to call us on 1300 656 188 or visit a Customer Service Centre to discuss you options.

TAFE Queensland East Coast may withdraw a student's enrolment if the student does not participate for 10 programmed study days, without notifying the TAFE. So if you are having doubts or problems, contact us to get help to get back on track.

It is your responsibility to inform Centrelink of any changes to your study load, if you are receiving benefits. Centrelink has access to student attendance records and failure to inform Centrelink may mean you will have to repay some or all of the monies you have received.

You are unlikely to be eligible for any refund after the course/unit has commenced.

To apply for a refund you need to fill out a refund request form.
